Prompt Generator

The Prompt Generator (Actions → Prompt Generator) uses AI to suggest prompts based on your domain, ICP, and competitor set. It's a brainstorm tool, not an autopilot.

When to Use It

• New monitor setup — You're starting from scratch and need a baseline list
• Gap expansion — You've identified a theme where competitors win and want suggested prompts to expand coverage
• New vertical entry — You're entering a new market and need vertical-specific prompts
• Competitor research — You've added a new competitor and want suggested comparison prompts

How to Use It Well

1. Configure inputs: your domain, top 3 competitors, primary vertical, persona
2. Run the generator
3. Review every suggestion — don't bulk-activate
4. Edit prompts that are too generic ("best software 2026") or too specific to be useful
5. Add buyer context if the generator missed it ("for a 200-person fintech," "for SOC 2 compliance")
6. Activate the keepers; delete the rest

Example Output Quality

Generic suggestion (delete or rewrite):

• "Best EDR tools"

Useful suggestion (keep, possibly add context):

• "Best EDR tools for healthcare with HIPAA requirements"

Already strong (activate as-is):

• "What's the best EDR for a 500-person healthcare SaaS that needs HIPAA compliance and runs on AWS?"

Common Mistake

The biggest mistake is bulk-importing 50 generated prompts without review. They'll dilute your visibility data with prompts no buyer actually asks. 5–10 carefully-edited prompts are worth more than 50 raw suggestions.
