Getting Started
How long until I see results?
Initial visibility data appears within 24 hours of creating your first monitor. Meaningful trend data takes 2 weeks. Significant visibility improvements from content investment take 4–8 weeks.
Do I need a credit card to start?
No. The Seed plan is free and requires no credit card.
Can I import existing data from another AEO tool?
Yes. Prompts can be imported via CSV (see Managing Prompts). Citation data is rebuilt by GrackerAI from scratch — historical data from other tools cannot be imported.
Monitoring
How many AI models should I select per monitor?
Default to 4: ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Gemini. Add AI Overview for category queries. Add Microsoft Copilot for enterprise-targeted monitors. Selecting all 7 wastes budget on noise.
How often should monitors run?
- Brand and top 2–3 competitors: Daily
- Most other monitors: Weekly
- Evergreen / educational: Monthly
Why is my visibility score 0%?
A 0% score means your brand wasn't mentioned in any AI response for the prompts in that monitor. Common causes: brand name conflicts (a more famous brand shares your name), insufficient indexed content, or prompts that don't match real buyer queries. See Visibility Score Explained.
Why are scores fluctuating?
5–15% week-over-week fluctuation is normal. AI engines update frequently, competitors publish content, indexing has lag. A 15+ point drop in 7 days warrants investigation.
Content & Portals
Should I publish AI-generated content as-is?
No. Treat generated content as a 70%-done starting point. Edit aggressively to add real customer examples, original opinions, and technical depth. See Content Generator.
How many programmatic pages should I create?
Quality > quantity. 50 strong pages with unique value beat 500 thin pages. See Programmatic SEO 101.
Where should I host my portal?
Cloudflare is fastest for most setups. Use Vercel if your main site is on Vercel. See Deployment Overview for the full decision tree.
Billing & Plans
Can I change plans mid-cycle?
Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately with pro-rated billing. Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle.
Do paused monitors count toward my limit?
No. Only active monitors count.
Is there an annual discount?
Yes, 15% off on Growth and above with annual billing. Contact sales@gracker.ai.
Security & Compliance
Is GrackerAI SOC 2 compliant?
Yes, SOC 2 Type II. Reports available via security@gracker.ai.
Where is my data stored?
US by default (AWS us-east-1). EU residency available on Scale and Enterprise plans.
How do I delete my data?
Individual records via dashboard. Full account via Settings → Account → Delete Account. See Data & Privacy.
Troubleshooting
My monitor isn't running
Check: (1) the monitor is Active not Paused; (2) you have at least one prompt assigned; (3) you haven't hit your plan's monitor limit. If still stuck, contact support@gracker.ai.
Citations aren't showing my domain
Confirm your domain is added in Settings → Domains. Citation backfill takes up to 72 hours after domain verification.
Schema isn't appearing on portal pages
Verify your hosting provider doesn't strip <script type="application/ld+json"> tags. Test with Google Rich Results Test (opens in a new tab).
