Sadcloud: A Tool for Creating Insecure AWS Infrastructure
Sadcloud is a tool designed for quickly setting up insecure AWS infrastructure using Terraform. It supports around 84 misconfigurations across 22 different AWS services.
It was created to allow security researchers to practice safely
It was created to enable security researchers to misconfigure AWS for training purposes or to evaluate AWS security tools. However, it should not be used in production environments because it contains intentionally vulnerable configurations. Users are recommended to create a new AWS account specifically for running this tool and to dismantle all Terraform resources when they are not in use in order to reduce costs.
