The DumpsterFire Toolset: A Versatile Security Event Builder

The DumpsterFire Toolset is a modular, menu-driven, cross-platform tool designed for creating repeatable, time-delayed, distributed security events. You can easily create custom event chains tailored for Blue Team drills as well as for mapping sensors and alerts. Red Teams have the capability to generate decoy incidents, distractions, and lures to enhance and expand their operations. This tool allows you to transform traditional paper tabletop exercises into controlled "live fire" range events. You can build event sequences, also known as "narratives," to simulate realistic scenarios while generating corresponding network and filesystem artifacts.

The toolset is designed for dynamic extensibility

The toolset is designed to be dynamically extensible, which means you can create your own Fires (event modules) to enhance the existing collection of toolset Fires. To do this, simply write your own Fire module and place it in the FireModules directory.

The DumpsterFire Toolset Auto-Detection Feature

The DumpsterFire toolset automatically detects your custom Fires during startup and makes them available for use.
