What is aws-inventory
A multi-threaded AWS security-focused inventory collection tool with comprehensive resource coverage and efficient data collection methods.
This Python Script Lists All Main Resources in Your AWS Account
This Python script provides a comprehensive list of all the primary resources associated with your AWS account.
This inventory may be incomplete, but it serves a purpose
This inventory may be incomplete, but it should assist you in locating what I refer to as "main" resources. In my opinion, these are the resources that should have an impact on billing and/or security. This inventory is intended for personal use (even though I have included some professional features like logging) and is designed for a single account.

This program requires Python 3 or newer
AWS CLI must be installed and configured on the system where you intend to run aws-inventory. It is recommended to use a special account that has minimal rights, specifically those defined in the inventory*.json files. For more details, please refer to the wiki. Ensure that you have the latest version of boto3 installed. Using older versions may result in signature errors with the newest regions or cause other malfunctions.
