aws_public_ips: A Tool for Retrieving Public IP Addresses
aws_public_ips is a tool designed to retrieve all public IP addresses (both IPv4 and IPv6) that are associated with an AWS account.
It can be used as a library and CLI for AWS services
This tool can function both as a library and a command-line interface (CLI). It supports the following AWS services, available in both Classic and VPC configurations: * APIGateway * CloudFront * EC2 (which also includes: ECS, EKS, Beanstalk, Fargate, Batch, and NAT Instances) * ElasticSearch * ELB (Classic ELB) * ELBv2 (Application Load Balancer/Network Load Balancer) * Lightsail * RDS * Redshift If a service is not listed here (such as S3 or ElastiCache), it is likely because there is no available support for that service.
Deployment Considerations
It may not be deployable to the public. This could be due to all IP addresses resolving to global AWS infrastructure, among other factors. Quick Start: To get started, install the gem and run the following command: $ gem install aws_public_ips # This command uses the default credentials located in ~/.aws/credentials $ aws_public_ips 52.84.11.13 52.84.11.83 2600:9000:2039:ba00:1a:cd27:1440:93a1 2600:9000:2039:6e00:1a:cd27:1440:93a1 # If you want to use a custom profile, run: $ AWS_PROFILE=production aws_public_ips 52.84.11.159 Requirements:
Running the Gem from Docker
$ docker pull arkadiyt/aws_public_ips # To use the gem, make sure the necessary environment variables for credentials are properly configured.
