ACAM Launches AI-Ready Program for Marketers

The Australian Centre for AI in Marketing (ACAM) has introduced the AI-Ready for Marketers program, an educational initiative designed to enhance AI capabilities within the Australian marketing sector. This program aims to bridge the gap between AI ambition and practical application. The online course is targeted towards both senior and emerging marketing leaders.

AI Adoption Statistics

ACAM's research indicates that a significant portion of Australian marketing teams are in the early phases of AI adoption. The AI Readiness Benchmark Report reveals that 52% of Australian marketing teams are at a beginner level. A primary obstacle identified is a lack of skills, cited by 61% of respondents. Additionally, many teams lack a clear roadmap or ethical framework for AI implementation.

Program Structure and Content

The AI-Ready for Marketers program combines strategic frameworks with hands-on training. Participants will gain experience with over 10 AI tools through online learning, weekly Q&A sessions, and live demonstrations. Contributors include experts from Monash University, IBM, Leopard, IPG MediaBrands, Norton Rose, and Woolworths. The eight-week course covers governance, segmentation, media, creative aspects, measurement, and customer experience. The program culminates in the creation of an AI-enabled marketing campaign ready for deployment.

Key Features

Jodie Sangster, co-founder of ACAM and author of the program, emphasizes the practical nature of the training. Participants will observe AI in action across various marketing stages and complete the program with an AI-enabled campaign. Louise Cummins, co-founder of ACAM, notes that the course was developed in response to industry demand for practical training, incorporating real case studies and technology provider showcases. The course content will be regularly updated, with weekly live Q&A sessions.

Program Details

The AI-Ready for Marketers program is scheduled to commence on October 22, with early bird pricing available until October 5. ACAM aims to support Australian marketers in adopting AI through training, benchmarking, and community learning, promoting ethical and effective AI implementation.
