Ruler is a tool that enables remote interaction with Exchange servers using MAPI/HTTP or RPC/HTTP protocols. Its primary goal is to exploit client-side Outlook features, allowing for the acquisition of remote shell access.
Capabilities of the Ruler Tool
The Ruler tool can enumerate valid users, create harmful mail rules, dump the Global Address List, execute VBScript through forms, and interact with the Outlook Home Page. It utilizes the Autodiscover service to gather relevant information and is compatible with Linux, OSX, and Windows operating systems.
