Hudinx: A Medium Interaction SSH Honeypot for Logging Attacks

Hudinx is a medium interaction SSH honeypot specifically designed to log brute force attacks as well as the complete shell interactions carried out by the attacker.

It features a simulated filesystem with advanced functionalities

It features a simulated filesystem that allows users to add or remove files. This includes a complete fake filesystem that mimics a Debian 5.0 installation. Users can also add fake file contents, and session logs are stored in a format that makes replaying them easy. Additionally, it supports saving files downloaded with wget for later review, as well as various deceptive actions, such as simulating a connection to another location and appearing to exit without actually doing so.

Operating System Requirements and Software Dependencies

The requirements include operating systems such as Debian, CentOS, FreeBSD, and Windows versions 7, 8, and 10. Additionally, the software dependencies include Python 2.7 or higher, Twisted, PyCrypto, StrawberryPerl, and Zope Interface.
