The hard part we solved
Publishing integrations look trivial until you care about structure, and citation depends entirely on structure. An AI engine reading your page needs clean heading hierarchy, answers that appear near the question, and schema that agrees with the visible content. All three are fragile in transit. A paste through a rich text editor mangles heading levels, strips the markup that carried the schema, and reflows the answer-first paragraphs that made the piece extractable. So the connector writes the post directly rather than handing you text to move, which means what the Content Engine built is what WordPress receives.
The rest is the unglamorous detail that decides whether a team actually adopts it. The featured image has to be uploaded to your media library and attached, not linked from somewhere else. The category has to be selectable from your real taxonomy rather than created blindly. And most teams do not want anything going live unreviewed, so draft is a first-class outcome rather than an afterthought. Get those three wrong and the integration is technically working and practically unused.
