# Improve Visibility

Improve Visibility is GrackerAI's content action tool. Given a prompt where your brand is invisible, it either rewrites an existing page to improve its citation chances or generates a brand-new article from scratch. all calibrated to your brand voice, persona, and the specific AI surface gap you're trying to close.

## Where to Find It

Improve Visibility is accessed from four places:
- **Content → Articles** → create content directly
- **Prompts Visibility** → launch it for any prompt you're losing
- **Content Gaps** → click **Improve Visibility** on any prompt row
- **Citations** → act on a domain or page that's winning citations you should own

## Two Modes

### Improve Existing Content

Rewrites a page you already have to make it more likely to be cited by AI surfaces for the target prompt. Use this when you have a page that's close to being relevant but isn't earning citations yet.

### Create New Content

Writes a net-new article from scratch targeting the gap prompt. Use this when no suitable page exists on your site.

### Optimize Mode Only

## Run Status

After you submit, GrackerAI creates a run. Track its progress:

| **Generating** | Currently being written |
| **Generated** | Complete - output ready to review and edit |
| **Published** | Pushed live (e.g. to WordPress) |

## Reading the Output

When a run succeeds, the output includes:

- **Markdown content**. the full article or optimised page, ready to copy into your CMS
- **SEO metadata**. suggested title, meta description, and focus keywords
- **Internal links**. suggested links to your own related pages (with link status: valid or broken)
- **External links**. supporting sources for claims in the content
- **FAQs**. a suggested FAQ block if appropriate for the content type
- **Link check summary**. how many links were verified as live, broken, or removed from the draft

## Tones Available

Professional · Casual · Technical · Conversational · Neutral · Authoritative · Friendly · Persuasive · Formal · Witty · Custom

Select **Custom** to write your own tone instruction if none of the presets match your brand voice.

> **Tip:** Always select a persona. Content generated with a persona is more focused and less generic than content generated without one. If you haven't created personas yet, see [Personas](/docs/setup/personas).
